1920s Slingerland MayBell # 24 Resonator Banjo Ukulele in Very Good condition. We would call this Excellent if not for the buckle rash on the resonator, pictured.
This is a really nice example of one of these. It would seem to be all original with the exception of the new Remo Fiberskyn head and the new bridge, both of which we installed. The original hardware and tuners are in great shape.
It's set up with an Aquilla Nylgut Concert set and it plays and sounds GREAT.
These compare very favorably with a Gibson UB2 / UB3 of the same era.
Needs nothing. Unpack and play. No case but will be well packed.
Check out the video.
We have another one of these in similar condition listed also.
