If you want a polite guitar, keep walking—this one kicked the door down with a recessed Floyd, Seymour Duncan Distortions, and enough Charvel attitude to make most “modern performance” guitars feel suspiciously housebroken.

Charvel has been making this argument for years: take the hot-rod formula, keep the parts that matter, throw out the junk, and let the guitar do the talking at irresponsible volume.

What makes that argument convincing is that the construction actually backs it up — rolled fingerboard edges, jumbo frets, and a graphite-reinforced neck with a heel-mount adjustment wheel built for players who do not enjoy fighting their instrument mid-tour.

The electronics make the same case. Seymour Duncan Distortion humbuckers front and back, three-way blade, push/pull coil split, and a no-load tone control that gets out of the signal path when you want everything the guitar has. Plenty of grind, enough articulation to keep fast runs legible, and real split tones that actually add range instead of just checking a box.

Not a museum piece, not a metal costume, not one of those overdesigned pointy things that looks wild and plays like wet drywall. Just a proper working superstrat for someone who wants speed, aggression, and the clarity to make both of them mean something.
