Slingerland 13 x 9 Tom 1967? - White Marine Pearl

This time is not complete and is missing the bottom rim several of the lug screws and there’s no bottom head obviously. The drum has a nice badge and I believe could clean ok. Sure about the finish though since seems to really be dirty however, I’m sure you can use one of those rubbing compound cleaners to get much of this . There are a bunch of stains that are kind of layered on the surface. I’m going to leave all of that for the new owner. There’s also a sticker which should come off easily with some heat. It still has the original mounting hardware which happens to be nice. The bottom edges look OK with some minor splitting of the layers. The wrap appears to be tight. The original dampers is present and functions properly. Overall, the shell is solid and looks good on the inside. I did notice some very minor bubbling which I believe is just that inner layer which is lifting slightly however this doesn’t vibrate and it’s not loose. So she needs a bit of love and I’m sure someone out there is looking for a tom match their kit. I’ll do my best to capture all sides. Please note that there’s some in the finish, which is due to age, but possibly depends on how much light or direct sunlight. It was receiving back in the day. For though, this one stood the test of time. The like it should clean up well. I did notice a blue drop of paint on the upper rim… It looks like it could be lacquer of some sort. Regardless, this is a good players drum for someone that wants to put the time in. It will be a fun little project. I should say it will be well worth your time.
