The Schecter Nick Johnston USA Traditional HH Electric Guitar in Atomic Mercury features a bolt-on construction with an alder body, flat top contour, and aged chrome and nickel hardware. The bridge is a Schecter 2-point tremolo. This is a right-handed instrument. The neck is wenge with a custom “C” profile and a 25.5" (647.7 mm) scale length. It has an ebony fingerboard with a 14" (355.6 mm) radius, 22 Jescar premium German silver frets, and silver ring inlays with silver dot side markers. Nut width is 1.67" (42.42 mm), and the nut is Graph Tech Black Tusq. Neck thickness measures 0.825" (20.96 mm) at the 1st fret and 0.865" (21.97 mm) at the 12th fret. The truss rod is a 2-way adjustable spoke wheel with carbon fiber reinforcement rods. Tuners are Schecter Hipshot staggered locking. Electronics include Nick Johnston Signature Atom-Bucker pickups in both the bridge and neck positions, with master volume, master tone, and a 5-way super switch (B full / B-tap / B-tap + N-tap (hum-cancel) / N-tap / N full). Additional features include a vintage-style knob and Ernie Ball Regular Slinky strings (.010–.046).
