The Hofner Ignition Pro Club Bass offers the legendary Hofner sound and style in a package that is both affordable and performance-ready. Taking inspiration from the original 1960s designs, the Club Bass features a fully hollow body that delivers a warm, woody 'thump' similar to an upright bass. The Pro Edition distinguishes itself with upgraded vintage-style 'Teacup' control knobs and comes factory-fitted with Hofner flatwound strings to achieve that authentic 60s British Invasion tone right out of the box. Extremely lightweight and featuring a comfortable 30" short-scale neck, it is a favorite for players who want the classic Hofner look in a single-cutaway body shape that offers a slightly beefier low-end than its violin-shaped cousin.
