Ibanez RG550 White 2018 Electric Guitar

Here for sale we have an Ibanez RG550 Electric Guitar in White finish. Made in Japan in 2018, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising a Basswood body, 5-piece Maple/Walnut neck and 24 fret Maple fingerboard. This guitar is fitted with Black hardware including Edge double-locking tremolo system and Gotoh sealed tuning machines. A trio of Ibanez pickups are installed in an HSH configuration, with a V7 in the neck, S1 in the middle and V8 in the bridge. These are wired to a 5-way blade switch and master volume and tone controls. 

The 5-Piece Maple/Walnut neck plays exceptionally well, with the Super Wizard profile feeling nicely slender and articulate in the hand. A flattened area to the centre of the neck promotes ergonomic thumb positioning in all registers and helps to facilitate fast, technical playing. The Maple fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 16.9" radius provides a nicely flat and consistent playing surface right the way up the register. This is paired with 24 Jumbo frets, ensuring a razor sharp playing experience in all registers. The sculpted neck heel and generous cutaways enhance access to the upper frets, opening up the full range of the instrument. 

The trio of Ibanez pickups installed in this guitar deliver a wide array of sounds, with the best of humbucking and single-coil tones on offer. The neck pickup is bold and warm, providing all of the clarity needed for your solo tones whilst remaining bright enough for chording and articulate rhythm parts. The V8 in the bridge is hotter, delivering a full-bodied and saturated harmonic distortion for your lead tones when driving the amp. The S1 in the middle position has a high output for a single-coil, meaning that it blends well with the neck and bridge pickups. The 5-way blade switch provides split coil sounds, whilst the responsive volume and tone controls ensure you're always in full control of your tone.

Headstock: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the headstock display light signs of past use.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (7mm socket) not included.

Hardware: Overall very good condition. Light to mild scratching is present to the pick guard, this is consistent with past use and can be seen under direct light. Tremolo arm included.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm

Overall very good condition and fully functional. A previous owner has written 'Manny' on the side of the lid. All other aspects of the case display light signs of past use.
