1998 Jackson USA Custom Shop Master Built Mike Shannon San Dimas Soloist. 50 of these were hand made by Shannon, and only in 1998 - four years before Fender bought the brand. Shannon will not need any introduction to collectors, as he built the guitars for all of Jackson's biggest artists, including the legendary Concorde for Randy Rhoads.
This rare model has totally unique features no longer found on Jackson guitars. Each of the 50 were hand built by Mike Shannon and signed by him on the back of the headstock.
They have the correct 4 degree neck angle to compensate for the raised tremolo, unscalloped heel and top mounted non-recessed Original Floyd Rose tremolo along with premium Gibson-style binding with nibs over the sides of the frets - have a close look. Smaller San Dimas silkscreened Jackson logo. All are equipped with a Seymour Duncan SHPG-1 Pearly Gates humbucker and two Seymour Duncan SSL-5 Custom Staggered single coils pickups. Gotoh 45 degree tuners. The body features poplar wings instead of the modern Fender-era alder wood.
This guitar is completely original and in great condition for an almost 30-year-old guitar. This is the only Shannon Soloist for sale in the world.
Worldwide shipping to any country. Will be professionally packed and shipped with UPS or FedEx. I am selling off my famous guitar collection, so follow me here and check out my other listings.
