The Epiphone Futura Firebird Custom in Quicksilver Shift delivers the same modern Firebird platform with a finish that really plays with stage lighting. If you want a guitar that blends the bold Firebird body shape with contemporary features and a striking appearance, this one makes a strong case. The Quicksilver Shift Chromashift finish moves between subtle metallic tones as it catches the light, giving the guitar a sleek and futuristic look.

The sculpted mahogany body features multi-ply top binding and a contoured back that improves comfort during long sessions or live performances. A glued-in mahogany neck carved to a Modern C profile provides a balanced feel that works well for rhythm and lead playing alike. The bound ebony fingerboard carries a compound 10 to 14 inch radius and 22 stainless steel frets, which keeps chords comfortable while allowing smooth bends and fast runs higher up the neck. Split-block inlays complete the upscale visual style.

A pair of Epiphone ProBucker Ignite humbuckers provide strong output and articulate tone across a wide range of styles. Push pull volume and tone controls unlock coil splitting and phase options, giving you plenty of tonal flexibility when switching between clean and driven sounds. LockTone Tune-O-Matic and Stop Bar hardware help maintain solid sustain and intonation, while locking Grover Rotomatic tuners keep tuning stable. We like this one because it combines the classic Firebird design with modern hardware and electronics that make it a dependable guitar for serious playing.
