The Epiphone Futura SG Custom in Midnight Ember Shift brings a modern take on the classic SG platform, built for players who want familiar double-cutaway comfort paired with contemporary features and a bold finish. If you are looking for a guitar that keeps the fast feel and aggressive style the SG is known for while offering expanded tonal flexibility, this model delivers. The Midnight Ember Shift Chromashift finish shifts color depending on lighting, giving the instrument a striking look that stands out on stage or on camera.

The solid mahogany SG body keeps the response resonant and balanced while maintaining the lightweight feel that has made the design popular for decades. A glued-in mahogany neck with a Modern C profile offers a comfortable, fast-playing feel. The bound ebony fingerboard features a 10 to 14 inch compound radius and 22 stainless steel frets, giving you easy chord work down low and smooth bends higher up the neck. Pearloid split-block inlays add a refined Custom-style visual touch that complements the sleek SG design.

Epiphone ProBucker Ignite humbuckers deliver clear, powerful tones with plenty of punch. Push/pull controls on the volume and tone knobs unlock coil splitting and phase options, expanding the guitar's tonal range beyond standard humbucker sounds. LockTone Tune-O-Matic and Stop Bar hardware help maintain strong sustain and reliable intonation, while locking Grover Rotomatic tuners keep tuning stable through heavy playing. We like this one because it keeps the classic SG feel intact while adding modern electronics and performance upgrades that make it versatile for stage, studio, or content creation.
