At the heart of the Euro RST is Spector’s iconic neck-through construction, elevated with a 3-piece Roasted Maple neck reinforced with graphite rods. Roasting enhances stability, rigidity, and resonance while giving the neck a beautifully tempered look and feel. The 35” scale ensures a tight, focused low B, while the comfortable “C” profile and 16” radius Rosewood fingerboard provide effortless playability across all 24 frets.
Visually, this bass is stunning. The highly figured Flame Maple top glows beneath the rich Sienna Stain finish, complemented by a matching headstock and smooth matte feel that feels broken-in from day one. The lightweight Empresswood (Paulownia) body keeps the instrument airy and resonant without sacrificing punch or sustain.
Tone-wise, this bass absolutely delivers. Dual Aguilar Super Double 5SD-D2 pickups provide focused mids, powerful articulation, and hum-canceling performance. Paired with the Aguilar OBP-2 (BP-2) preamp, offering up to ±18dB at 40Hz and ±16dB at 6.5kHz, you get massive low-end authority and sparkling highs with precise control.
