From the year 2015 comes this incredible Gibson Custom Shop CS7 1950s Style Les Paul Standard in Antique Gold! This is a formidable Goldtop that bridges the gap between vintage soul and modern Custom Shop precision and innovation. This CS7 is perfect for those players who enjoy the "big neck" feel and a guitar true to its 50s-style tones.

Part of the celebrated CS series, this "CS7" is essentially a '57 Reissue in all but name, featuring a solid, non-weight relieved mahogany body and a carved maple top. Weighing in at a substantial 9.19 lbs, it offers that classic Les Paul feel and massive natural sustain. The VOS (Vintage Original Spec) finish gives the Antique Gold a soft, aged patina that looks like a well-cared-for heirloom right out of the case, and is perfectly complemented by the single-ply cream binding.

The neck is a dream for players who prefer a handful of guitar, featuring an Early '50s Rounded profile that measures a beefy .920" at the 1st fret and a full 1.000" at the 12th. This one-piece mahogany neck is paired with a one-piece rosewood fingerboard attached using Hot Hide Glue for its superior tonal transfer. While it utilizes the non-historic expanded neck tenon, the construction remains incredibly resonant. The 12" radius, cellulose trapezoid inlays, and 1 11/16" nut width provide that familiar feel.

For tone, this Goldtop is armed with a pair of Custom Bucker pickups, Gibson’s most accurate PAF recreations, delivering all the woody "honk," airy chime, and harmonic overtones you’d expect from a Custom Shop build. The electronics are rounded out with a classic 2-volume, 2-tone layout and a 3-way toggle switch, allowing for effortless tonal shaping.

The hardware is top-tier nickel throughout, featuring an ABR-1 bridge, a lightweight aluminum stopbar tailpiece for enhanced "bloom," and Kluson Deluxe tuners.

This guitar is in excellent condition and comes with its original Gibson Custom Hardshell case.  Setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop, it's ready for it's next home.
