Shure Unidyne III PE54 Microphone like 545 or SM57 Made in USA 1965-1984
Our users rate Reverb
At first glance, I thought this was an old SM57 because of the dark body instead of chrome. Then, I thought somebody probably changed the body but, no. This series 2 PE54 is a member of the 545 family which includes the SM57. The PE54 and SM57 are very close to being the same microphone and this is an early one made in the USA before 1984. It shows its age and wear but it still works and sounds very good.
