For sale is an a Shure 556S in phenomenal cosmetic shape with the original cloth in beautiful shape! Inside, the original capsule was unfortunately no longer functioning so a smaller capsule was mounted inside so it works great again.
If you can find an original with the capsule working to spec, this microphone will have a leaner bass response with a hot signal. Usually these mics have loose internals, which leads to the original capsules taking a beating which can result in them sounding extremely poor. Everything inside is tight and there is nothing loose, and lastly please note this mic has an XLR connector so it is a breeze to use on modern equipment.
This microphone would be the perfect for display or for use on camera because it looks stunning!
