Original vintage c 1950’s Federal AM-864/U tube variable MJ compressor limiter in excellent working condition!
Freshly recapped, serviced, and fitted with a modern IEC power cord and XLR connectors, she also has front panel controls for threshold limiter (ratio), and current control (threshold).
TONS of gain, sounds absolutely killer as a microphone preamplifier! But of course, she excels at smashing, cooking, and juicing up drums, room mics, and vocals. Killer on bass guitar too! -enjoy!
