Northwest Vintage Guitars presents an early pre Firebrand Gibson The Paul Les Paul singlecut with a DiMarzio pickup upgrade that really does the trick.  The Paul is a pre Studio era Walnut bodied Les Paul that originally came equipped with Dirty Finger's Humbuckers that can be a bit hot for a lot of folks.   Fortunately, someone opted to install a pair of killer DiMarzio humbuckers that read a comparatively tame 10.22k ohms at the neck and 12.4k ohms at the bridge and yield excellent tone and sustain.   You also get a Walnut neck and an Ebony fretboard and this one has been re-fretted at some point so there's lots of life left and they're much taller than the original fret spec.  Comes safely packed in the molded hard case in the photos.

The nut measures 1.69", neck depth is .80"-.88" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively.   It's a Norlin era C carve as was the parlance of the times.  24.75" scale, 12" radius, 7.96 lbs.  Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D'Adarrio XL 10-46 nickel strings and factory spec action at 1.7mm and 1.25mm.   The frets have been leveled, crowned and polished.  The think Nitro top coat has worn off in places giving it a great road worn patina.  The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability.  A small longitudinal neck crack (length-wise) has been professionally glued up and is nearly impossible to detect.  4 screw holes on the top were filled where a vibrato or Dingus box was mounted.  There are a few scratches and dings as pictured.  It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots.
