The SCC-XKD Gig Bag provides a custom-fit soft case designed to protect the Hammond XK-7D during transport. Its form-fitted design also accommodates the Hammond XK-5 when used in the Expanded configuration, making it a practical solution for players moving their instrument between rehearsals, services, and performances.
The interior is padded with expanded polyethylene cushioning to help guard the organ against bumps and impacts while in transit. The bag is also designed to fit the instrument even when the optional CU-1 “Half Moon” Leslie switch is attached, eliminating the need to remove accessories before packing.
Integrated wheels on the lower end of the bag make transport easier when navigating venues or loading in and out of vehicles. Zippered front pockets provide convenient storage for cables, pedals, and other essential accessories, keeping everything organized alongside the instrument.
