The American Vintage series from Fender offered period-correct reissues of sought after guitars they’ve made. The ’52 Reissue Telecaster is by far one of the most popular. Featuring a lightweight and resonant Ash body with a Maple neck and fingerboard, this guitar is easy on the shoulder as well as being a tonal powerhouse. We don't have a serial number for this one because the original owner swapped the bridge. The neck and body both have stamps that indicate this one is a '92 AVRI 52. The pickups were also swapped for a Seymour Duncan Hot Tele set. The guitar ships with what looks to be the original case and does have some significant signs of wear to the body. The original neck pickup and ash tray are in the case!
