The 2026 NAMM Model Martin 000E Retro Plus Granadillo is built for players who want classic Martin character with a more refined, modern edge. With its comfortable 000 body size, this guitar offers the perfect balance of projection and intimacy, making it equally at home with fingerstyle, light strumming, or songwriting. A torrefied solid spruce top gives the instrument a broken-in, open response right out of the case, delivering the kind of warmth and resonance most guitars only develop after decades of playing. Paired with solid granadillo back and sides, the voice is clear, complex, and sustaining, with shimmering highs, a focused low end, and the rich harmonic depth players associate with high-end rosewood guitars.

From a player’s perspective, this is a guitar that feels immediately familiar and rewarding. The Performing Artist neck profile with high-performance taper provides a slim, fast feel that stays comfortable across long sessions, while the 24.9 inch scale length keeps string tension relaxed and responsive. Ebony for the fingerboard and bridge adds clarity and definition, helping every note speak with precision. Style 28-inspired details such as dot inlays, a multi-stripe rosette, and a faux tortoise pickguard give the guitar a timeless look that ties it directly to Martin’s heritage, while the gloss body and satin neck offer both visual appeal and a smooth playing experience.

Equipped with LR Baggs Element electronics and a softshell case, the 000E Retro Plus Granadillo is ready for stage, studio, or travel. Its balance, sustain, and touch sensitivity make it an ideal choice for players who want a responsive acoustic guitar that translates beautifully when amplified. For musicians searching for a torrefied spruce and granadillo acoustic guitar that blends vintage-inspired tone with modern reliability, this model delivers a voice that is expressive, articulate, and unmistakably Martin.
