Blending vintage-voiced humbuckers with modern electronics , you get the very best of contemporary and classic while the familiar tonewood combo and construction offers traditional tones and striking looks. Brought together with solid hardware , the Patriot Decree provides unparalleled performance. If you're a guitarist looking for great value in a traditional-style, yet exceptionally modern and versatile instrument, the Patriot Decree is a wonderful choice. Vintage-Voiced Humbuckers with Modern Electronics Voiced specifically for this model, the Patriot Decree comes equipped with over-wound PAF-inspired MK PAF-Plus humbuckers for that classic warmth and humbucker growl. The Great 8 electronics mod is one of MK's most demanded mods. With this mod, the sonic spectrum is doubled on this double-hum Patriot Decree. You still have the full powered tone of each humbucker and the traditional settings to give you neck, bridge, or both, but the Great 8 Mod adds two push-pull switches to the volume and tone knobs so that when pulled up, one coil of the humbucker is disengaged to give you a cleaner single coil tone. You can control each pickup separately, maximizing your options. Familiar Tonewood Combo and Construction Sporting a single cutaway mahogany body, the deeply carved top is made from beautiful figured maple for that classic sonic response we've come to know and love since the early days of the electric guitar. Carved from mahogany into a cozy Modern C profile, the set neck design allows for that vintage tone and sustain you've been seeking. Solid Hardware The Patriot Decree comes equipped with high-quality hardware to provide you with the utmost performance. Finished in chrome, a set of Grover tuners allow for incredible tuning precision while a Tune-O-Matic bridge with a string-thru-body design offers unparalleled sustain and intonation.
