Bass Odyssey Awaits: Circa 2007 Fender Japan JBV 5-String Jazz Bass – Your Ticket to Low-End Domination! Dripping with Natural Road Worn MOJO!
Yo, bass thumpers and groove masters! Ready to drop seismic low-end bombs that rattle the foundations of every stage? Behold this pristine powerhouse: a circa 2007 Fender Japan JBV 5-String Jazz Bass, crafted in the heart of Japan during the neo-golden MIJ era (2007-2010). This beast channels the timeless '62 Jazz Bass vibe with a modern 5-string twist, delivering thunderous tones that'll make your rig roar and your bandmates bow in awe. With its solid alder body in a classic Sunburst finish that gleams like aged whiskey under stage lights, this bass weighs in at a comfy 9 lbs 10 oz's – balanced, resonant, and ready to sling over your shoulder for hours of effortless jamming.
Dive into the details: The one-piece maple neck sports a smooth medium C-shape profile that fills your hand just right, measuring .82" at the 1st fret and beefing up to .95" at the 12th for that perfect blend of speed and stability. Topped with a thick slab rosewood fingerboard boasting 20 slender frets with zero wear, it invites your fingers to fly across the 34" scale length. The 1 5/8" nut width gives plenty of room for those fat low-B string slaps without crowding, while the original chrome tuning machines with clover buttons hold pitch like a vice – no detuning drama mid-set. Strung with beefy 45-130 roundwounds, it's setup for low action and pinpoint intonation, gliding through funky pops, walking lines, and aggressive picks with surgical precision.
Sonically? Pure Jazz Bass magic on steroids! Dual stock single-coil pickups (SS configuration) dish out that iconic midrange punch and sparkling highs, with the low B rumbling fat and tight – no flub or mud. Passive electronics keep it simple and versatile: crank the bridge pickup for biting attack in rock riffs, blend in the neck for warm, woody thump in jazz grooves, or dial 'em both for versatile slap-and-pop fireworks. This isn't just a bass – it's a groove machine that vibrates with soul, sustain, and that unmistakable Fender growl, turning every note into a seismic event.
In road warrior cosmetic condition with plenty of super cool wear... no fake relic or aging just the bumps and bruises that come with endless jams and stage performances. – it's 100% original and gig-ready, blending vintage aesthetics with bulletproof 5-string performance.
Don't let this low-end legend slip through your fingers! Snag it now and elevate your bass game to god-tier status. DM me before another low-frequency fiend claims the crown! 🎸🔥💥

Return Policy, Restocking Fees & No Tire-Kicking Policy
We follow Reverb’s 7-day return policy. However:
- You must notify us in writing within 3 days of delivery (per tracking) of your intent to return.
- Original shipping and return shipping costs are not refunded unless the guitar is damaged in transit or is significantly not as described.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all returns for any reason other than damage in transit or significantly not as described.
We record demo videos of every guitar before shipping to document exact condition and performance. Additional photos, measurements, or in-hand descriptions are available upon request prior to purchase.
Minor adjustments and tweaks to a set up (for example to correct a slight buzz or truss-rod tweak) are normal after shipping due to carrier mishandling the package, climate & atmospheric changes, especially when moving from South Florida to colder or less humid environments. These slight issues do not constitute “significantly not as described.” Guitars must be returned in the exact same condition as received/advertised or additional repair/restocking fees will apply.
We are a small business, not a big-chain retailer. We invest significant time and effort into every guitar. This is a NO TIRE-KICKING shop. There is no post purchase haggling or partial refunds. If minor cosmetic marks, tiny imperfections, or the possibility of a post-shipping setup tweak makes you uncomfortable, please do not buy. Plenty of large retailers offer free trials and can absorb shipping costs—we do not.
