JAM Pedals Black Fuzz Phrase Limited

JAM Pedals Black Fuzz Phrase Limited
The Black Fuzz Phrase Limited: Handmade Vintage Fuzz, Refined to Perfection Ultra-Rare NOS OC44 Transistor Fuzz Pedal

Built entirely by hand in Athens, Greece, the JAM Pedals Black Fuzz Phrase LTD is a testament to JAM's commitment to building exceptional musical devices. Inside this impeccably crafted enclosure lies a pair of ultra-rare NOS OC44 Philips black glass transistors, manufactured in 1969 and each tested and matched by ear for tone and character. These vintage components are highly sought-after for their incredibly low leakage and smooth, musical gain, delivering fuzz that’s as articulate as it is unruly.

Hand-Wired Craftsmanship with Boutique Appointments

Every Black Fuzz Phrase LTD is hand-wired point-to-point on a turret board, an old-school method that keeps signal paths short and tone pristine. The luxurious suede wrap isn’t just for looks, it’s part of JAM Pedals’ commitment to craftsmanship that feels as good as it sounds. This is a pedal built by and for players who appreciate the details, inside and out.

Vintage-Spec Components for Authentic Response

Signal integrity is everything in a vintage-inspired fuzz, and JAM nails it with carbon-comp resistors and tropical fish capacitors throughout the audio path. This design choice pays off in spades, offering a fuzz that’s harmonically rich, touch-sensitive, and beautifully reactive to your playing dynamics. Roll back your guitar’s volume and the fuzz cleans up with warmth and clarity.

Expressive and Musical, Yet Aggressive on Demand

Whether you're chasing those woolly early rock tones or dialing in a focused sizzle for modern psych and garage, the Black Fuzz Phrase LTD delivers. The unique voice of its hand-picked transistors cuts through a mix without ever sounding harsh or boxy, and its sensitivity to picking nuance makes it as expressive as it is powerful.

Limited Edition Legacy

With its limited production run and unmatched build quality, the Black Fuzz Phrase LTD stands as a tribute to both the golden age of fuzz and the future of boutique pedal design. If you’re chasing a fuzz that’s got soul, grit, and refinement all in one box, this is your destination.
