Original vintage Orville by Gibson Thunderbird bass in excellent playing condition. She’s just been set up with fender flatwound 105’s, and she’s ready rock for another few decades. These are simply awesome basses; a class above anything Gibson USA was producing at the time (or since, imho), and are about 20 lbs lighter, more playable, and just better than the stateside counterparts.
This one has seen lots of use, as the good ones do, and has plenty of scars, nicks, dings, and finish wear to prove it. All superficial though, and there are no cracks, breaks, or repairs. She’ll even ship in the original, tattered pleatherette soft case, not pictured. Enjoy!!!
