Allen & Heath CQ-12T Digital Mixer With 7" Touchscreen and Bluetooth

The Allen & Heath CQ-12T is an ultra-compact digital mixer designed for musicians, content creators, and live sound engineers who want professional sound quality with a fast, intuitive workflow. Built with the same design philosophy that defines Allen & Heath’s flagship consoles, the CQ-12T combines powerful 96kHz processing, smart mixing tools, and flexible recording options in a lightweight desktop format that fits easily into a backpack.

Intuitive Touchscreen Control

At the center of the CQ-12T is a bright 7-inch capacitive touchscreen that puts all key mixing functions within easy reach. Dedicated buttons for Configuration, Processing, Fader, FX, and Home let you move quickly between views, while three assignable SoftKeys and a single rotary encoder make adjustments fast and precise. The streamlined interface keeps operation simple for beginners while still offering depth for experienced engineers.

Smart Mixing Tools for Faster Results

The CQ-12T includes intelligent processing features that help you get a clean, stable mix in minutes. Preamp Gain Assistant automatically sets proper input levels, while Feedback Assistant helps prevent feedback before it becomes a problem. Instrument-based Quick Inputs provide optimized starting points for vocals, guitars, keys, and more, while Complete Input mode gives advanced users full manual control. Four built-in Smart-FX engines deliver instrument-aware reverbs, delays, and modulation effects that sound polished without complex setup.

Flexible I/O and Recording Options

Despite its compact size, the CQ-12T offers extensive connectivity. It features 10 mic or line inputs including five XLR and five XLR or 1/4-inch combo inputs, plus a stereo TRS line input. On the output side, you get six TRS mix outputs, XLR main outputs, and a dedicated headphone output.

Recording and playback are handled with ease through a 16x16 USB audio interface, 16x16 SD card recording, and onboard USB storage support. Bluetooth stereo input allows you to stream reference tracks or backing music directly into your mix. An Ethernet port enables remote control via external devices or a networked router.

Compact Mixer With Big Versatility

The CQ-12T is designed for multiple roles. Use it as a live mixer for small venues, a monitor mixer for rehearsals, a USB audio interface for studio work, or a mobile recording rig for live shows and podcasts. Its small footprint and lightweight design make it ideal for musicians, engineers, and creators who need professional results without hauling bulky gear.
