This Custom Shop OM pairs an Adirondack spruce top with Guatemalan rosewood back and sides, and we selected the wood ourselves for the build. Adirondack spruce brings power and articulation, and the Guatemalan rosewood adds rich overtones, deep bass and a smooth top end, so the guitar has the headroom and clarity to take hard playing. The OM body works for fingerstyle, flatpicking and light strumming.

The appointments are Style 28, with diamonds and squares inlays on an ebony fingerboard and a GE Modern Belly bridge, and the finish is a thin gloss body with a satin neck, which gives it a broken-in feel from the first note. Vintage-style Grover tuners and a dovetail neck joint round out a traditional build. We would suggest it for a player who wants a boutique 14-fret OM with Adirondack power in a classic 28-style look.
