The 808 is a classic drum machine and this particular specimen is one of the best you’ll find. I’ve been the proud owner for about 15 years. I acquired it from a late client as payment for services rendered. 

I recently had my technician go though it to ensure everything is in perfect order. The technician is world class and has managed American synthesizer production lines and repaired synthesizers for many an award winning artist. 

The Garfield Masterbeat was acquired from the same late client as the 808. For many years the Masterbeat was the link between my modern digital and MIDI workflow and the analog world of the 808. The 808 can only generate or receive DIN Sync, an analog sync protocol but the Masterbeat can covert just about any form of sync to anything else - MIDI Beat to DIN? That’s how I used it. MTC to LTC? Sure. DIN to VTC? If you want to. In addition to sync format conversion it can also add offsets and delays. The paper manual is included as well as a 5-pin DIN Sync cable to connect the Masterbeat and the 808. 

For storage and protection a Roland branded case and Decksaver are included in the purchase. 

For good measure this auction also includes a pair of size 10 Puma x Roland collaboration celebrating this historic drum machine. A Roland 808 logo shirt size Medium is also included. 

The 808 will ship inside the case with the decksaver.
