Here we have a beautiful Pensa J-534 5-string bass guitar! This one features a Ziricote top and is in excellent condition.
Other specs include a chambered alder body, maple neck, ziricote fingerboard, Hipshot bridge and Hipshot Ultralite tuners. It has a 34” scale length, a 1 13/16” nut width and a 12” radius with 6105 fret wire. It is loaded with a set of Nordstrand NJ5FS pickups. The controls include independent pickup volumes, active treble control, active bass control, pull passive and pull both pickups in series.
This bass is in wonderful condition. It has some light marks on the top near the strings from playing. There is a small paint chip at the edge of the neck pocket on the bass side. The hardware shows a hint of patina as well.
It weighs in at 9lbs 8oz. The neck measures .790 to .910 at the 1st and 12th. It has a modern oval C neck profile with rolled fingerboard edges. The bridge has 17mm spacing. We dig the exotic top, matching headstock and feel of the satin finish. This is a well built and a great sounding bass!
