From the Sennheiser Website:
"The e 609 Silver is more than a mic; it’s a super-cardioid problem solver for working musicians and engineers. Its capsule delivers exceptional focus, rejecting off-axis stage noise, so your guitar or tom slices cleanly through the mix. Built with a rugged all-metal frame and reinforced grill, it’s road-ready and tour-tough, shrugging off drops, dings, and punishing conditions. It’s precision-engineered practicality that shows up, plugs in, and nails the performance."
