Epiphone by Gibson LPS, Les Paul Standard Heritage Cherry Sunburst, manufactured in 1993, made in Korea.
The "By Gibson" era refers to Epiphone guitars produced under license from Gibson, adhering to very rigorous specifications. The best models were exported to Japan (at that time, trade relations between South Korea and Japan were excellent). They offer excellent value for money and are, quite rightly, increasingly sought after. They are incomparable to current models made in China.
