For post-war Martin models, its hard to go wrong with a D-28. Something about these early '50s models are just great, voiced differently than the pre-war D-28s but still built quite lightly and with choice tonewood pieces, tight-grained spruce and exquisite Brazilian rosewood. Kept in great shape, this guitar is boomy without sacrificing tone from the famous spruce/rosewood combo. For a D-28, this is the perfect showing of what makes this model timeless and adored.
It has a neck profile of .787"/1st and .926"/12th. This guitar has had a neck reset, refret and bridge reglued. Serial #153641, comes with the original case. Please refer to the provided photos for more detail on the condition. As with all of our vintage listings, included is a vintage spec sheet which details and repairs & changes of note.
