The direct-mounted EVH Wolfgang humbucking pickups serve up thick, singing tone to articulate both rhythm and leads. And the EVH-branded Floyd Rose locking tremolo takes dive bombs and extreme whammy bar use in stride, maintaining tuning stability. Grab the EVH Wolfgang Special Satin Striped and unlock your inner guitar hero.
Iconic Body Style with Striking Satin Finish
The EVH Wolfgang Special Satin Striped pays homage to Eddie Van Halen's iconic guitar body shape he co-designed with Grover Jackson in the early '80s. Its arched basswood body provides a full, rich tone to give your playing bold expression. The satin urethane finish in eye-catching stripes makes a bold visual statement on stage. The Wolfgang feels broken-in right out of the box.
Maple Neck and Ebony Fingerboard Built for Speed
Designed for fast, fluid playing, the Wolfgang Special Satin Striped's maple neck has a comfortably fast compound radius ebony fingerboard. The slim, hand-rubbed satin urethane neck finish facilitates quick movement up and down the neck. Jumbo frets also lend themselves to speed, with broad, tall fretwire that's ideal for performing fast bends, hammer-ons, pull-offs and two-handed tapping. Whether you're playing intricate solos or rhythmic riffing, this guitar keeps up.
Direct-Mounted EVH Wolfgang Pickups
The EVH Wolfgang humbucking pickups are mounted directly to the body, allowing the guitar to resonate freely. These pickups serve up focused midrange for rich lead tones, with enough sparkle and bottom end to sound huge when cranking out chords. Use the 3-way pickup selector to move between the bridge pickup for aggressive lead tones, both pickups together for a fat rhythm sound or just the neck pickup to smooth things out.
Built for Performance With Floyd Rose Tremolo
Made for intense performances, the EVH-branded Floyd Rose locking tremolo ensures you can pull off radical dive bombs without knocking the guitar out of tune. Combined with the locking nut, the Floyd Rose tremolo returns to pitch accurately after heavy whammy bar use. The EVH D-Tuna allows quick drop D tuning at the flick of a switch as well. Whether you're playing your hardest or modifying tunings on the fly, this guitar can handle it.
Includes Gig Bag and More Player-Friendly Features
Along with the Floyd Rose tremolo, the Wolfgang Special Satin Striped comes with other pro features to enhance your playing experience. The heel-mount truss rod adjustment provides easy access to tweak neck relief, while Bourns low-friction volume and high-friction tone pots optimize control. To protect your investment, an EVH Wolfgang gig bag is also included. Express your inner guitar hero with the EVH Wolfgang Special Satin Striped.
