This 5 string Modulus bass comes to us from consignor Spady Brannon, a legendary Nashville Studio and stage bassist with involvement in a huge number of hit songs and the artists associated with them!
This bass was custom built for Spadey, and is one of a kind. In fact he was told not to ask for another to be built; this one was such a custom and meticulous piece that Modulus wasn't keen to build nore.
It has a rare Lacewood fron and back (back piece has a minor repaired split (pictured) that has been stable for several years. The neck is rare in that it is the much stronger and cooler looking large weave carbon fiber.
Electronics are custom as well, active and installed with controls spec'd by Spadey himself.
It's mostly seen studio use and is very nice and clean. It's ready for many years of playing and work. It's very flexible for most any genre. Quite a fine instrument and a one of a kind, never to be repeated 5 string bass!
