Yamaha TRBX174EW 4-String Bass

The Yamaha TRBX174EW Trans Black 4-String Bass blends exotic wood aesthetics with versatile tone and Yamaha’s trusted craftsmanship—perfect for players who want standout looks and reliable performance.

The TRBX174EW in Translucent Black features a laminated exotic mango wood top over a mahogany body, giving it a striking visual appeal that sets it apart from traditional entry-level basses. The bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fingerboard offer smooth playability and tonal warmth, while the 24-fret, 34" scale layout ensures full-range access for both beginners and experienced players. Whether you're grooving in the pocket or exploring melodic lines, the TRBX174EW delivers comfort, balance, and a bold stage presence.

This model is equipped with a split single-coil neck pickup and a single-coil bridge pickup, both passive ceramic designs that provide a wide tonal palette—from deep, rounded lows to crisp, articulate highs. The control layout includes two volume knobs (one for each pickup) and a master tone knob, allowing for intuitive blending and shaping. Finished in a sleek Trans Black gloss, the TRBX174EW is a stylish and sonically flexible bass that punches well above its price point
