Alembic MKLB5 Mark King Signature Deluxe 5 String Bass Maple Trifecta 2013 w/OHSC

Alembic custom built this bass for me. It is in pristine condition. I looked it over and I could not find a single blemish. It plays beautifully, though it could probably use a fresh setup. The frets are hardly worn. With all the maple, there is no lack of brightness, but the bottom end is super solid as well, due to the center ebony laminate in the neck. It’s a 34” scale. The neck width was Alembic's "comfort" option plus a little more on the G-string side, so the string spacing is more similar to what you'd find on a 4-string. I believe the neck has a 12" radius. The clover cutout was my idea as was the ruthenium hardware plating. The knobs were custom made by Roger at THG. I was going for the Celtic "reminds me of a Guinness" look. The case has its share of nicks and the middle clasp is missing the ring, so I've used a locking luggage strap "just in case" when I'm transporting it to/from gigs. I would urge you to continue doing so, or replace the clasp altogether. If you would like more specific pictures, just ask me and I will take some more. The specs are below.
