Deliver massive AVB/Milan and MADI channel counts to any Mac or Windows workstation with the RME HDSPe AoX-M, a 512-channel PCI Express audio interface engineered for modern studios, post-production, and broadcast environments. Designed for ultra-low latency, total stability, and full flexibility, this single-slot PCIe card transmits and receives up to 128 channels of AVB/Milan network audio through dual RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports.
With optional MADI expansion boards, the AoX-M can integrate up to four MADI I/O connections while maintaining up to 256 AVB/Milan channels per direction, offering unmatched versatility for hybrid and large-scale systems.
Seamless Routing with TotalMix DSP
RME’s TotalMix DSP mixer provides complete routing, submixing, and monitoring control for all inputs and playback channels. Independent stereo submixes and a fully featured Control Room section offer unrivalled flexibility for both studio and live workflows.
Easily configure I/O routing, create custom submixes, and enjoy latency-free monitoring — all controlled via the TotalMix FX software and ARC USB remote (sold separately).
Optional MADI Expansion Boards
Expand your system with up to two optional MADI boards (optical, coaxial, or mixed configurations):
- AoX MADI Optical 128×128 Expansion Board adds 128 optical MADI channels with dual SFP I/O connectors and BNC word clock I/O. (Multimode SFP modules included; single-mode optional.)
- AoX MADI Coax 128×128 Expansion Board adds 128 coaxial MADI channels via dual BNC inputs and outputs, plus BNC word clock I/O.
These optional modules transform the AoX-M into a fully hybrid networked audio hub, uniting MADI and AVB/Milan seamlessly.
