Tim “Herb” Alexander joined Primus in 1989 playing on the band's most successful recordings of the early 1990s. His precision playing easily navigated the complex arrangements with odd-time signatures and polyrhythms that helped define Primus' unique sound.
Tim Alexander played this massive Tama Starclassic drum set on Primus' Willie Wonka Tour circa 2014-2019, supporting their Primus & the Chocolate Factory with the Fungi Ensemble album that was released in 2014.
The 17 piece set is finished in a spectacular custom "Chocolate" stain finish inside and out. The set shows a few scuffs and chips from its years on the road. We've detailed most of the finish flaws in the photos. Overall the set remains in exceptional condition.

We received the set directly from Tim Alexander. Tim played this set in a variety of configurations with a a variety of hardware and accessories. We are selling only the 17 drums listed below. No stands, cymbals, or hardware included.
All of the drums with the exception of the 24x16" bass and the 14x5" snare are custom single headed drums.
The set includes a COA signed by Tim Alexander.
