The last run of the Brazilian rosewood D-28's, this guitar really shows off the last great push that Martin was doing as the '60s closed out. Genuine bookmatched Brazilian rosewood looks so great on this model, and it sounds so great because of it. A timeless pairing on a D-28, these old D-28's sound even better than when they were new with a nice warm and pronounced sound.
This example has had a neck reset, overspray to the back of the neck and back cracks previously repaired. It has had a refret, replaced nut, pickguard and bridge. The medium V neck profile measures ..838"/1st and .967"/12th. Serial #213223, comes with a new Martin hardshell case. Please refer to the provided photos for more detail on the condition. As with all of our vintage listings, included is a vintage spec sheet which details and repairs & changes of note.
