Here's The Run Down:

This Vintage 1930s Bacon Banjo Company B&D Tenor Banjo was purchased along with 10 other banjos that were part of an estate. The owner was an old school professional player that played all of the instruments up until he passed away. All, including this one appear to be play ready unless you desire a specific set up or would like to restring. Other than some normal wear, its in great shape overall with no signs of damage or abuse (see pics). Its in the cosmetic as pictured, so please be sure to view all (more available upon request). I tried to take really good pics, so you can judge for yourself. The only notable flaws would be average scratches, checking, marks and/or flaws here and there, but is very clean overall for a almost 100 year old vintage instrument. The finger board is in nice shape, the frets show minor wear and in need of no attention at this time. The hardware is in nice shape, but does show some wear in the expected areas.

This Bacon Banjo plays & Sounds great! Although I think its set up perfectly, everyone has their own preferences. If your not happy with its set up, it will be your responsibility and cost to have it set up to your liking. The neck is straight with great action and plays perfectly from one end of the fingerboard to the other.
