Hi, here is a 1983 Fender Bullet H-1 made in the old Fullerton, Ca. USA Fender factory. This was the final year of the USA made Bullet line, before they changed them and moved production to Japan. This is the H-1 model which had two single coil pickups mounted back to back to form a humbucker of sorts. There is a small button to depress to engage both coils at once, or simply leave in single coil function. These hard-tail Bullets were great as they offered a slightly smaller sized Strat body yet still maintained a full scale 25.5" Tele style neck. The neck is Fender's thinnest ever made, with a sharp "D" profile and is wonderful for players with smaller hands that cannot handle other thicker necked designs. It is finished in Dakota Red, and while there are the usual normal play wear marks and some small dents about, (none through the finish), the paint is still remarkably bright and vibrant even after 42 years. She comes with the original molded plastic hard case too. The case has that sweet musky, earthy smell that all these old 80's cases seem to have, so.... if you are super scent sensitive you may wish to maybe use something different. If you're a lover of old, somewhat vintage Fender guitars, the Bullet series hard-tail models are a valued series to own and have somewhat of a cult following. She weighs in at only 6.5Lbs, so a real pleasure to gig with. Please message me with any questions you may have about it. Thank you for looking.
