Enjoy the rich analog sound of UAD in a Windows USB 3 environment.
The UAD-2 Satellite USB DSP Accelerator is the coolest, most powerful choice for Windows-based PC users to boost their mixes with UAD plug-ins. This convenient desktop unit gives you full access to the acclaimed UAD plug-in library, including exclusive titles from Studer, Lexicon, Neve, and more.*
With significantly better performance and lower plug-in latency than FireWire, the UAD-2 Satellite USB is the perfect entry point into the world of UAD plug-ins, and also serves as an ideal DSP expander for the Apollo Twin USB interface.
Key Features: Use UAD Powered Plug-Ins via USB 3 connection on Windows PCs. Four (QUAD) or eight (OCTO) built-in SHARC processors provide powerful DSP power to your mix. Access over 100 UAD plug-ins, including Ampex, Lexicon, Helios, Studer, Neve, Manley, Capitol Studios, and API.*
Includes the Analog Classics Plus plug-in suite for immediate mixing. Compatible with other UAD-2 devices, including the UAD-2 PCIe Card, UAD-2 Satellite FireWire, and Apollo Twin USB. (Please check the operating requirements for each product when using multiple units.)

The UAD Powered Plug-Ins library, developed in collaboration with renowned brands loved around the world, boasts over 100 plug-ins.
* To use UAD plug-ins other than the included Analog Classics Plus, you must purchase them separately from the UA Online Store. All trademarks are the property of their respective manufacturers.
●UAD Plug-In Craftsmanship - The Science Behind the Scene From serious home recordists to multi-platinum-selling mixing engineers, UAD Powered Plug-Ins have long been the go-to for audio professionals—they faithfully recreate not only the sound but also the behavior of classic analog gear, from rare compressors and equalizers to vintage reverb processors and tape machines.
The UAD Powered Plug-Ins library, developed in collaboration with renowned brands loved worldwide, boasts over 100 plug-ins.
■Notes: UAD-2 Satellite USB cannot be used in a Mac environment.
- UAD-2 Satellite USB does not support bus power operation.
- Use in a 2-in-1 system (notebook/tablet) environment is not supported.
- Compatibility with AMD processor environments has not been adequately tested and is therefore not supported.
- USB 3 adapters (e.g. PCIe to USB3 adapter cards) are not supported as they have not been adequately tested.
- Cannot coexist with UAD-1 devices.
- Up to two USB-connected UAD-2 devices can be used simultaneously.
The UAD-2 series does not extend the DSP power within the Apollo console. This power is only available within the DAW during mixing/mastering (the amount of DSP power available for overdubbing and monitoring within the Apollo console is dependent on the processing power of the Apollo console itself).
- UAD plug-ins other than the included Analog Classics Plus bundle can be purchased at the UA Online Store.
*Please check the latest operating environment on the manufacturer's website before purchasing.
