Seymour Duncan SH-5 Duncan Custom DC-M Humbucker Wound by Martha Cameron - 1980's-1990's - Black

Used Seymour Duncan SH-5 Duncan Custom DC-M wound by Martha Cameron - double black bobbins, 4 conductor + ground lead wire.

I'm not sure the exact age of this pickup, but it has the larger logo with the 3 lines "SEYMOUR DUNCAN PICKUPS" engraved on the baseplate, so should be mid 80's to 90's.

Someone along the history of this pickup added a shielded lead cable to the end of this pickup making it a 2 conductor pickup, but the original 4 wire lead is still what's connected to the pickup itself.

The red and white wires are soldered together and under the black heat shield tape where the original black lead meets the new shielded lead cable. I assume the original green, black and ground wires are tied to the shielded lead.

The DC resistance between the ground and hot wire is 14.23K ohms.

Pole spacing measures around 49mm.

The lead wire is about 7" long.

The black bobbins do have some very light scuffs and scratches on them, but overall they're in good shape.

The pole pieces have some minor corrosion, and tarnish, but overall are in good shape.

No springs or screws are included.
