The ATH-R50x is an open reference headphone that has been specially developed for professional applications. Thanks to its 100% open housing concept, it offers an authentic sound image with a wide panorama. Every diaphragm excursion is converted into sound without distortion, resulting in an extremely natural sound - ideal for mixing, mastering and critical listening analysis.

The 45 mm drivers are based on the technology of the renowned ATH-R70x and have been tuned for the ATH-R50x to deliver both powerful bass and precise mids. Vocals and lead instruments are reproduced with clarity and presence without compromising the balanced overall impression. With a frequency range of 5 - 40,000 Hz, the headphones cover the full audio spectrum and enable detailed, transparent reproduction.

Weighing just 207 g and with the newly developed, ergonomic headband, the ATH-R50x are extremely comfortable even when worn for hours on end. The open housing also ensures pleasant air circulation, while the soft, replaceable velour ear pads guarantee a high level of comfort during long listening sessions.
