Original vintage 1996 50th anniversary Fender AVRI Jazz bass in gorgeous playing condition!
As you are well aware, these old AVRI’s are pretty legendary; some of fender’s absolute finest, and rabidly pursued by collectors and players, both. Funny, in ‘96, this “reissue” was only 34 years later than the original. Today, it’s almost ANOTHER 30 years older!
She wears her years well, and has clearly been babied, and little played these last 3 decades. Frets are excellent, neck arrow straight, and she’s absolute lighting in the hands. Close your eyes, and you’re holding a pre CBS Jazz. Just wow.
Cosmetically, she’s quite nice as well, with lots of natural and distinguished patina, lacquer, and play wear, all superficial, all included at no extra charge. She‘s 100% original, no cracks, repairs, or funny business, and even ships in her original Fender gig bag. -Enjoy!
