1989 Andy Farrell custom prototype guitar built in England with an uncanny resemblance to the Ernie Ball Music Man Eddie Van Halen signature guitar that did not come out until two years later in 1991! This design shares the same 4x2 headstock shape, double humbuckers with locking tremolo...but most insanely, the very same Telecaster-Les Paul hybrid body with a figured maple top as seen on Eddie's famous signature guitar in America two years later. The similarities are impossible to ignore, and it's hard not to come to the conclusion that this guitar from an established British custom builder was not somehow the inspiration for the later Ernie Ball Music Man model. Andy Farrell began custom building guitars for British players in 1977, so this example was 12 years into a well established career in crafting specialty instruments. Priced at the starting price any British handmade guitar from a custom builder would be today. Exceptional condition. This is a true time capsule and case queen.
