1968 Gibson ES-345TD Stereo Thinline Archtop Semi-Hollowbody Guitar. Absolute Case Queen. Former Abbey Road session guitar. Has lived its entire life as a session recording guitar in prominent UK studios for the biggest artists of the late 60s, 70s and 80s before it was mostly retired to its case. Features the $90 gold plated Bigsby Vibrola option, the most expensive Gibson offered at the time. This is the finest example in the world and incredibly still retains the Gibson logo completely intact on the pick guard. Comes with original hard which is also in remarkable condition. 1968 serial number with dot over the "i" on the Gibson headstock logo, no volute and no "Made In USA" stamped.
If you want the very best, you are looking at it. Gibson says "This Gibson can produce ANY sound you've EVER heard from ANY guitar. The Vari-tone selector switch produces 18 separate sounds and creates hundreds of voices when coupled with tone controls."
Minor marks and signs of aging, but still the finest example you will find anywhere in the world. Truly a 57-year-old case queen for the price of many brand new Gibson Murphy Lap guitars pretending to be this old.
Worldwide shipping to any country. Will be professionally packed and shipped with UPS or FedEx. I am selling off my entire guitar collection, so follow me here and keep an eye out on upcoming listings. Many well known artist guitars available.
