ThisFender licensed Strat replacement neck is designed as a replacementfor the player looking for that big D-shaped neck that you hear all thevintage guys talk about. If mass equals sustain, this neck is going tonot only fatten up your sound, but it'll also give you the feel ofplaying one of the timeless classics built in the early 1960s. It has a10 in. radius, heel adjust truss rod, 1 5/8 in. nut width and comesunfinished so you can apply the finish of your preference. This is aone-piece maple neck with black dots. The heel is 2 3/16 in. width. The21 frets are a medium size Jescar wire which is equivalent to Dunlop6150. Neck thickness at the first fret is a whopping .93 in. and .99 in.at the 12th fret. The peghole bore size is vintage 11/32 in. Nut is notincluded.

All necks require a final level, crown, and polish and may need to befine-tuned to your instrument and playing preferences. Your new neckshould be carefully inspected prior to installation and/or modificationas necks are rendered non-returnable once altered. Due to the organicnature of wood each neck is considered unique and may have minorvariations in grain or finish from those pictured. WD does not sell whatis commonly referred to as seconds or blems. Due to the volume of necksthat we sell WD does not hand-select necks based on appearance orweight. WD neck heels are made to Fender USA dimensions and tolerance,this may not account for neck pocket shrinkage or expansion over time.Some neck pocket modification may be required.
