ESP Dave Mustaine Axxion Megadeth 20th Anniversary Signature Kiso Custom Shop Guitar for NAMM and ESP promo as seen in the official ESP advertisement for the guitar. Dave got two of these guitars, a protype with vertical block ESP logo and then this final example that was meant for production, which never fully happened because his relationship with ESP ended shortly after this was made, as explained in my other listing from my interview with him about Jackson, ESP and Dean. Dave got rid of both of his Axxion guitars early on, and this is now available for sale to the public. The guitar is a case queen time capsule and still has its protective film on the back covers! The guitar is completely original and includes one of the few ESP Axxion Dave Mustaine Signature hard cases ever made. This model features the Roman numerals XX in its names and inlays to celebrate 20 years of Megadeth at the time of this guitar's creation. Dave Mustaine completely designed this model himself and moved to ESP after Jackson sold its brand to Fender and refused to build this model for him. Around 100 LTD Axxions were made, but only a handful of the full ESP models were created. The guitar is in incredible condition for 20 years old and is a significant part of Dave Mustaine, Megadeth and ESP history.
