The Dream Dark Matter Energy Ride isn’t just a cymbal—it’s an experience. With a dry, crisp attack that melts into a smoky, shimmering finish, this 22-inch ride brings a sound that’s alive and ever-changing. It looks as bold as it sounds, with a scorched surface that hints at the fire-forged power within. If you're chasing something expressive and full of character, this one hits different.
Dream Cymbals DMERI22 Dark Matter Energy Series 22" Ride ReviewBuilt using Dream’s signature Dark Matter process, this ride cymbal is hand-hammered and twice fire-treated to create a truly unique sound. The result is a dry, articulate response that opens up with a sizzling, airy fade—perfect for everything from jazz textures to modern rock dynamics. Its ability to grow more complex as you play it makes each one truly one of a kind. You’re not just buying a cymbal—you’re shaping it over time.
