1963 Fender VI- 6 string bass guitar. This guitar was gifted to me by man who played in a band with a young 16 year old Eric Johnson in Austin, TX in 1967. This bass has as brown sunburst finish, which I not been able to find another like it… so I have no idea how it came to be, but it’s beautiful. Works perfectly And sounds amazing, especially when used with a pick. Think the bass tone on “Taking to the Streets.” I am not trying to actively sell this as it is very special to me, but if you’re crazy enough to add it to your collection, here it is. Serial number 86100.
