The Epiphone 1960 Les Paul Standard Reissue from the Epiphone Inspired by Gibson lineup is a fantastic choice for intermediate to professional players who love vintage Les Paul tone and styling but prefer a faster, slimmer neck. Inspired by the coveted 1960 Gibson Les Paul Standard, this model delivers classic looks and sound at an accessible price, with design input from Gibson Custom.

Built with a carved maple cap and AAA flamed maple veneer over a solid mahogany body, it features a one-piece mahogany neck with a historically accurate long neck tenon for better sustain. The SlimTaper neck profile offers a faster, more comfortable feel compared to earlier Les Paul Standards, while USA Gibson Custombucker pickups with Alnico 3 magnets deliver authentic, vintage-voiced tone. Hand-wired CTS pots, Black Beauty capacitors, and a Switchcraft toggle ensure reliable, high-quality performance on stage or in the studio.

Playability is smooth and fast thanks to the slim neck and bound rosewood fretboard, complete with mother-of-pearl trapezoid inlays and an aged headstock logo for extra vintage vibe. Nickel hardware, vintage gloss finish, and Deluxe "Double Ring" Keystone tuners round out the details. We love how Epiphone nailed the 1960 feel and sound here; if you want classic Les Paul character with a neck that's easier to handle, this reissue is an outstanding option. Plus, it comes with a vintage-style brown hardshell case for safe transport.
