The Suhr Hombre 1x12 tube combo amp brings you vintage brownface Fender tones with modern refinements for guitarists seeking classic clean and overdriven sounds. Powered by two 6V6 tubes, the amp's normal and bright channels deliver pristine cleans along with sweet, singing overdrive when pushed. The Hombre's pure signal path gives you exceptional touch sensitivity and dynamic range. Just small adjustments to the dedicated volume and tone knobs elicit a wide range of gorgeous bell-like tones or Texas blues-rock crunch.

Tube-Biased Tremolo Interacts With Your Playing Dynamics

Hombre's tube-biased tremolo is unique in how it responds to your picking attack. When playing softly, the tremolo is more pronounced. Dig in harder and the effect recedes to maintain clarity. This interaction between playing dynamics and the tube bias modulation results in an organic, pulsating tremolo that breathes with your music. Activate the tremolo with the included footswitch for stage-ready versatility.

Vintage Styling With Modern Improvements

The Hombre's vintage pine cabinet features elegant box joints and a floating baffle board for looks and sound. Under the hood, painstaking attention went into the layout and signal path to reduce noise versus original vintage amps. It's equipped with custom transformers wound on paper bobbins in the USA. The amp drives a 12" Celestion V-Type speaker, selected after extensive listening tests as the perfect match.

Classic Looks With Smart Improvements

The Hombre's vintage-inspired pine cabinet looks straight out of the '60s, but it's been updated in clever ways. The open back design makes it lightweight and portable, perfect for gigs or the studio. It's loaded with a Celestion V-Type speaker for balanced, clear tone with nice low-end punch. Other smart tweaks like a bright cap and added midrange sculpting give you versatility while retaining that vintage vibe.
